Scotblog nomination for local green blogger.

Debra Storr is one of 142 nominees for a ScotBlogs 2010 Award. 

Commenting on her nomination, Debra Storr said "As this blog was only started in March, I am flattered to be nominated.  I find my blog a good way to make information available to my constituents that it's difficult to fit on a leaflet and I enjoy the interaction with those who comment.   

"I am sometimes asked by the full title of my blog is National Disgrace, Scoundrel and Extremist, Cllr Debra Storr.  This was to reflect some of the sillier comment from the Trump Organisation on me and my colleagues."

Voting in the Scotblog Awards is open until Wednesday 27th January at 8pm. 

Debra Storr has been a councillor since 1999, first for Belhelvie and since 2007 for the larger ward of Ellon and District of Aberdeenshire.  She sits as part of the Democratic Independent Group.  She joined the Scottish Green Party in 2009.
