Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Green Party
Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Greens are a growing group of Scottish Green Party members spread across the City and the Shire.
The Group has welcomed Aberdeenshire councillors Martin Ford (East Garioch) and Debra Storr (Ellon & District) as members and is actively engaged in campaigns in both Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
The Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Greens will be fighting two constituencies in the forthcoming General Election - Aberdeen South by Rhonda Reekie and Gordon by Sue Edwards.
Key campaign issues will include
- Sustainable transport - investment in rail and bus services
- Securing funding for schools
- Democracy in planning
- Supporting the Menie residents against Donald Trump and Aberdeenshire Council
- Open and accountable government at all levels.
We hold regular informal meetings to which visitors are welcome. We are a friendly group and would love to hear from other people in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. If you are interested, please contact:
